Free Easter family fun offered at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s

Families invited to enjoy free photos with the Easter Bunny, craft activities and Easter Egg hunt March 24 through April 1

          

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Families can celebrate spring with free Easter events taking place at all Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s locations across the U.S. and Canada from Saturday, March 24 to Sunday, April 1.* Through entirely free events, families have the chance to pose with the Easter Bunny and take home a free 4-by-6 color photo, enjoy kid’s craft activities and even participate in an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt.

Bass Pro Shops is widely known for offering free family events throughout the year. Easter marks the first time the popular activities will be offered at Cabela’s locations since the companies joined forces in 2017 to establish North America’s premier outdoor and conservation company.

“Customers consistently tell us they love our free events and this year we’re excited for even more families to join the fun beginning with our Easter celebration,” said Stan Lippelman, Bass Pro Shops Vice President of Marketing. “For years, families have made it part of their annual tradition to bring the kids to Bass Pro Shops for a free photo with the Easter Bunny. Now, families visiting Cabela’s will have the same opportunity to enjoy this fun, free event that is sure to become a new tradition for many.”  

Easter Bunny Photo hours:

  • Saturdays, March 24 and 31, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Sundays, March 25 and April 1, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Monday-Thursday, March 26-29, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Friday, March 30, 2 p.m.– 8 p.m. (1 p.m. – 5 p.m. for Bass Pro Shops locations in Niagara, Ontario; Vancouver, British Columbia; Calgary, Alberta and all Cabela’s locations in Canada)
  • Photos not available at Cabela’s in Grand Junction, Colorado 

Easter Egg Hunt and free crafts

Kids ages 2-10 can enjoy an old-fashioned Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, March 31 from 2-3 p.m. local time. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. Participants that find five eggs can return them to registration for free candy.

Fun crafts for the kids include:

  • Decorating a foam placemat, Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25, 1 p.m. -  4 p.m.
               • Creating an Easter photo frame, Friday, March 30, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
               • Creating a bunny box, Saturday and Sunday, March 31 and April 1, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
