Bass Pro Shops giving away 19 tons of free fudge to thank customers for “America’s Most Reputable Companies” recognition

Outdoor retailer ranked 19th on national list of 800 companies from survey of 43,000 consumers

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Bass Pro Shops – the outdoor goods destination – is thanking its customers for naming the retailer as one of “America’s Most Reputable Companies” with a big celebration that includes giving away 19 tons of free fudge nationwide.

Why 19 tons? Bass Pro ranked 19th on the list of 100 companies identified by Forbes based on a survey of 43,000 consumers, ranking above other iconic national brands including Disney, Home Depot, Marriott, Harley Davidson, FedEx and others.

Customers can stop in to any Bass Pro Shops location in the U.S. on Wednesday, July 26 to enjoy the fudge while supplies last. Quantities are limited to one per customer per visit. Preparations to create the enormous batch have been underway for weeks.

Under the visionary conservation leadership of founder/CEO Johnny Morris, Bass Pro Shops is known as a national leader in protecting habitat and introducing families to the outdoors. Last year 100,000 kids caught a fish at Bass Pro Shops-sponsored events.
